Excellent place and the staff (especially Alessandro!) are amzingly helpful. The facilities are all that you need and more. Bathrooms are not the best, but they are clean and there is hot water. What more do you need!

You have to pay extra for internet. Lockers are not secure. The street noise is increadibly loud - outdoor disco/bar directly downstairs, dogs barking, cars etc. barely slept at all. I wouldn't stay here again. Hostel was OK otherwise.

Very busy, lots of young people and they offer great deals on drinks and food at their restaurant. quite brightly coloured rooms though!

It's a quite good place to meet friends and every night u can stay in the bar right downstairs to have a drink. Due to this bar, it's really noisy even at night so if u have a problem with noise while sleeping, u'd better not go there. And. . ATTENTION!!!! another great suggestion, if u have four persons, there is a really great place in catania which is called Palace Biscari. It's an old palace and now the owner who is also the offspring of the royal family i guess, he make one room furnitured like modern flat with bathroom and kitchen. In the room, there is a big double bed and two coutch beds so it's available for four people to stay and the owner told me the price which is only 80 euros in total. so 20 for each person. It's really a good deal and u know u will sleep in a palace in catania. if i will go to sicilia again, i will stay there for sure!!

It does have a great location although it really wasn't clean. There was a very strong smell of urine even after it was cleaned.

Nice atmosphere and people, but it is very noisy. People have to go though your room to reach their own rooms. There is a railway line directly next to the hostel.

Noisy till 2 am due to the restaurant on the basement. The small square night by night was packed with hundreds of youngsters hunging around. Do not recommend for devoted tourists, who like to wake up early morning to follow their program. Highly recommended for young travellers.

HOSTEL: It has a really nice and helpfull staff. The location is very good, two streets away from the center. THE RESTAURANT/ COCKTAIl BAR: They dont really care about hostel's guests, they are very slow and expensive, not polite. Their income is made by locals so they will not try to impress you.

I'd recommended this place. It's 20 min. walking from the train station through the center, which is ok. The staff was friendly and helpful. I really liked breakfast outside!!!

The connecting bar and underground resturant were really good, however, you need to pre-book a table at the underground resturant and was a little pricey. The toilets were not well maintained, they weren't clean and the locks and the showers didn't work. However, staff were very freindly and it was a good base to visit Catania.

The staff was very helpful in finding train and bus informaiton, i met many interesting and friendly people, a descent breakfast, they accepted credit card as payment
