If you could rate higher than good you would. Vito and Carlo made this place feel like home. They had a personal laptop available to use any time of the day in the reception area, a kitchen equipped with all the necessary utensils and even left little notes on the door each day just asking what you got up to. I stayed twice here with a day break in the middle to head up to the Cinque Terre (something i would highly recommend) and Vito was more than happy for me to leave luggage behind (in a locked cupboard) for no charge. The location was perfect just minutes from the markets, several cheap restaurants (with discount vouchers for a great little cafe on the corner) and about 5 minutes by foot to the duomo. They had some house wine available which was quite cheap made in the south of Italy. Worth a try! |

The name of this place says it all. Vito made us feel right at home! There are plenty of guide books available to borrow during your stay and it is in a great location, walking distance from everything to see in florence (we didn't catch a bus or train for the week we spent there). We had a fantastic private room which was spacious, incredibly clean and very comfy. There is also access to a equipped kitchen if you wish to cook some of the local fresh market produce. There are also plenty of very nice cheap restaurants close by. There are two bathrooms to share amongst the 3 other rooms. One is simply a toilet and shower however the main bathroom was huge and both were always very clean. There is a computer available to use in the reception area with free wifi available in the rooms. Vito (the owner) bent over backwards to help us in any way and ensure we have great memories of Florence. We often came back at the end of a long day with a cheerful note on our door asking about our day. Overall the accommodation was exceptional given the low cost. We have been staying in budget accommodation for the last 3 months and Casa Dolce Casa definately tops our list. We highly recommend this place to all travellers!!! Thanks again Vito. you will see us again in the future! |

E um hostel em que o unico problema foi o aquecimento do quarto so ser ligado as 22h. Tudo o resto e excelente. |

Casa dolce casa was the nicest place ive stayed i think, the staff were very friendly, and we were very confortable and happy with it. Id recommend it to anyone. |

It was a great hostel with friendly stuffs. The room was clean, the bathrooms were also clean, the internet was free to use, great atmosphere, great access to the city. I strongly recommend this hostel and I would definitely stay at this place next time I get a chance to go to Florence. |
