Situated among Michelangelos David and also the Duomo, and less than a 15 minute walk from the train station - there is no better area. The hostel is housed in an eighteenth century palazzo with a view of the dome - there is certainly a functioning elevator in case you didnt fancy walking up all the stairs.

Really GREAT location! You can see the Duomo! Warm and friendly staff- bring your own towel

The rooms had high ceilings and were relatively spacious. Web was free and wireless. Helpful staff.

Yes the location is great but Florence is easily walkable. I would recommend staying elsewhere, have been in much better hostels in the city

David Inn was great! I loved the small hostel atmosphere, it was good for meeting people. And you can't beat the location right next to the Duomo. The staff was quite welcoming and the place was clean; they even make your bed during the day. Another plus is good (free) wifi signal.
