It is a secure hostel with a secured gate at ground floor just before entering the building. Good location from rail station and bus interchange for those taking trains to outlet store. Really near to shopping district and museum as well. Strong wireless connection. Bakery, supermarket, restaurants eating house and pubs beside the hostel. No cost hot water and tea at hostel. Warm and friendly staff. Comfortable beds!

The staff was really friendly. The property owner was really helpful! The towels were huge and the room had it&'s own heater. The location was great, it&'s near the San Lorenzo market place and we walked it everyday to get around.

The manager was so warm and friendly and helpful. Gave us fantastic reccomendations for food, wine, gelato and all of the must sees of florence.

What was particularly great about this hostel was the staff and their help in relations to seeing Florence. When we first arrived the owner gave us a free map and on it marked off the key attractions, finest ways to get each and recommended a number of places to eat, drink along with the most effective ice-cream shop inside the city. This made getting started and planning the trip much easier and they were often on hand in case you had any problems or need help.
