The location and cost of this hostel are ideal. It is affordable and just what you need when you are backpacking. The bath rooms are really good along with the staff are helpful. Free internet too!

The recepcionist was friendly, ok. But when we arrived in hostel, she told us she cannot see our reservation. So we lost our money that we paid to hostelbookers. com. The rooms are sooo small and just four walls which are built like prefabricated houses. Soon after signing the papers for the hostel, they asked if we had a sleeping bag or sheets. If we will stay in hostel, why would we carry sleeping bag So, we paid also for sheets. The toilets and showers are far away from the rooms. So in case you need to go to toilets in the middle of the night, be careful. The hostel closes at 2 a. m. like a dormitory and they dont give you a key for the front door. The rooms had only one plug. So iff you will stay with a lot more people, you have to queue up to charge your phone or computer. If I go to Florence again, I wont stay in this hostel.

This is not a nice spot to stay. The hall with the rooms (sounds confusing I know, imagine demountable rooms) reminds me much more of a prison block. The "self catering facilities" are a joke. Consist of plastic knives and forks, no plates two bowls to be shared by everyone, no cups. Absolutely nothing at all to cook on. A coffee machine that spits out some form of mud. Lockers are not in dorms. The building is beautiful, but the hostel is badly managed. When I stayed here, they had a massive party down stairs that all these Italians were paying to get into. The spot is extremely confusing.

It was a little expensive with the obligatory membership fee, but it is in a really cool old building so you really feel like you are sleeping in a museum.

The staff was really really nice and helpfull ! It's also a place for cultural life : concert, yoga, films. The rooms are clean, the bathroom a little less. It's quiet after 11pm.

The employees was extremely warm and friendly and extremely helpful. I had a great time there. They provided information about Florence quickly, they gave us maps and pointed places to go and how to book in advance the museums.
