The location is good, especially if you come with your own car. You can park for free in front of your hostel and you're right outside of the walls of Lucca. The hostel is clean and there is a fridge in the dorm. There's a nice bar just at the corner called "La Siesta".

This hotel is outside the old city walls, but really near to walk to tourist info as properly as the old city centre. We also walked around the hotel area during the night and it was safe and comfortable. We were walking with backpacks, as properly as the distance from the train station was okay. Any longer and I would have preferred a transfer.
