Pros: free luggage storage, nice location, decent room, helpful staff. cons: door lock was outworn, thus it doesn't lock anytime you turn the key - this can be tricky, as you think your door is locked, as in fact it isn't. The staff wanted to charge me the room price including the deposit -only after I showed them the print of the reservation, the agreed to the right price.

I was slightly worried about staying here after reading previous reviews. I did hear rats above the ceiling but the room itself was clean. I had a single room with a sink on the top floor. The hotel is 9 tram stops from the central station then a couple of underground stops from the cathedral or you can walk to the underground station near the hotel. So its not central but easy enough to get around. The area had a few restaurants and little shops but not much else apart from hotels. It isn't that great for meeting people but there was a little area with chairs by the reception. The staff were friendly enough but didnt speak much english, which would have been useful. Overall, its a cheap base to explore milan,

I like the view of the balcony, and price is worth to the hotel. It's a nice hotel but no credit card accepted and it's insecure that I have to keep my passport in the counter.

In fact, not much. The quality of the mattress was really dreadful such that restful sleep was not possible at all. Besides, due to mice and/or rats running on the floor above, silence was significantly disturbed throughout the night. Shared bathroom for five rooms although not stated so on the webpage. Cleanness really moderate. No soundproof walls. No breakfast provided.
