Overall, I enjoyed my stay at La Talpa. Claudio welcomed us into his house and was extremely accomodating. The property is rustic, it&'s a farm that grows its own produce. It&'s also house to donkeys, chickens, dogs and cats. The dogs and cats roam freely and are extremely friendly; one of the dogs accompanied us on our moonlit walk down the street. The rooms are well-kept and neat. The beds were comfortable as nicely as the bath rooms were clean. There is free Wi-fi, but no television in the rooms. Breakfast was delicious- fresh, homemade bread, homemade jam and honey, almonds, fresh coffee, fresh squeezed orange juice. And dinner was equally as good.

Located away from the city and in a quiet environment, La Talpa offered the city break we were looking for. Owners are really friendly, they took me to a dentist on the 1st day and to a open air concert on the 2nd day. The food is fresh and organic, everything is homemade indeed or at least from local and trusted providers. Meals are shared with the family and their friends, as nicely as other customers. You really feel at home away from home, which is more than I could dream of.

This is a outstanding spot to stay! We would suggest everybody to go to la Talpa! ! Although you need a (rental) car to reach la Talpa, it is word it! The dinner as nicely as the fresh fruit en vegetables are delicious! You can taste the sun of Sicilia in everything you eat! Claudio and Luisa are really friendly and nice people, who always need to help you. With dinner and breakfast the environment is really great and you can meet other travellers easily. Finest spot to stay on Sicilia!

The organic food served at dinner was amazing and grown on the farm itself where the hostel is so it couldn't be fresher. Cloudio and Louisa provide a very clean and lovely place to stay and were wonderfully welcoming and accomodating. The hostel is near loads of fantastic sights, and five minutes from the beach in the car so it's very well placed. We had a wonderful time and will be back soon for some more.

This is an amazing place, Claudio and his household are extremely welcoming and help with eveything. In case you are looking to party or being in a city prob not for you. Nice escape from the city, exactly where you can ride donkeys, take inside the scenery, eat some amazing organic food (which they can prepare for you if wanted, dinner was amazing 3 course meal), pay a visit to beaches etc. One thing you defniitely would need is a car to get everywhere! Def worth a pay a visit to if you think an organic donkey farm could possibly be your thing!
