The location with gorgeous view and the swimming pool, the hostel itself and the atmosphere. The owners and employees are superfriendly and really helpfull and they organise activities like wine tasting, horseback riding and a go to to the chocolate factory nearby. Twice a week the owners make fresh pizza within the wood-oven for everyone who is around, and you can order a caraf of local wine, and eat and drink together within the kitchen or outside on one of the picnic tables. Free bicycles are available for going to the market place or somewhere else, and with public transport (or by car) its easy to go to Perugia or Assisi. I will definitly come back here and suggest this location to others!

Very different to the usual city hostel experience, it really is a farmhouse! The staff were amazing and friendly, especially Aafke and Riccardo! It was really relaxing and felt incredibly homely!

Everything. Seriously. There were some issues with hostelbookers so they wound up overbooked, but they up-graded my group of three to a little cottage at no extra cost. Everyone was nice, the place was gorgeous, the weather was lovely, and I met so numerous awesome people. The hostel itself was clean and had a kitchen, which was great. I&'m definitely going back, and if we hadn&'t had plans for the next few days we would have extended our stay.

I primarily went to Perugia because my travel buddy wanted to have a look at a friend there. I didn&'t expect it to be one of my favorite parts of my trip to Italy, mostly because of Perugia Farmhouse. The place is beautiful and provides a lot to do even without going into town and everyone there is certainly warm and friendly and fun. If you&'re looking for a nice, comforting stay and maybe a bit of time from the city, this is the location to go. (The animals are great, too! )

I LOVED staying at the farmhouse for the two nights I was in Perugia because of the location and setting of the hostel. While it is not inside the actual city of Perugia, and so it isn&'t the most convientent place for the center of the city, the beauty of a city like Perugia, in my opinion, is not the plethora of sites and monuments to see (like in Rome). Instead the Farmhouse offers what Perugia is great for: relaxed, beautiful Italian countryside. The location of the hostel is gorgeous, and convenient to a supermarket (which you can walk to, or ride bikes - provided by the hostel for free) to create meals inside the hostel&'s kitchen if you don&'t desire to go into the city to find lunch or dinner. The staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful. Everyone at the hostel spent time soon after dinner both nights I was there comforting outside inside the warm Spring weather and we all were able to just talk and appreciate each other&'s company.

The hostel was everything it promised in the hostel description. A rambling, cosy farmhouse set in gorgeous rolling green hills with a lovely pool, welcoming staff and relaxed atmosphere. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed the 4 nights we spent there and could have easily stayed another week. Our private room and bathroom was spacious, clean, cool and superb value for money. We used the communal kitchen regularly to cook meals as we were travelling on a budget and spent days lounging by the pool reading and swimming. A enjoyable and relaxing experience.
