Holiday House Gilda offers outstanding value for money. Upon booking a room for 2 (apartment Letizia) we found it was incredibly spacious with a massive kitchen, and could have slept up to 7 people! The view was stunning, along with the owners (Gilda and Giuseppe) were very useful and did everything they could to make us really feel welcome. The breakfast was more than ample and of outstanding quality. All in all a extremely pleasurable and comforting stay.

Holiday House Gilda presents outstanding value for money. I woudl suggest this place in case you want to relax outside of Positano. It's about 25 walk from the village, close to Alienzo beach. It fitted our need perfectly as we did not want to stay in extremely turistic and crowded Positano. Principal pros: - staff: really friendly, nice and helpfull - location: in case you don't want to stay inside the cented there is no far better place in this region - food: breakfast was perfect really fresh and tasty - view from the window is breathtaking

This was a holiday like no other. I was completely blown away by the hospitality of Gilda, her husband Guiseppe and pals and daughters. It was like being part of a family and we were treated like so. It completely made our holiday and they were so kind with helping out with transport, and tips on exactly where to eat etc. My friend was also travelling with a baby and Gilda was like a proud grandmother always holding and helping with the baby. It was incredibly overwhelming to have such wonderful care and adore from them. I was suprised to uncover that Gilda and Guiseppe don't own the Holiday House, they work, cook and clean for the owner. I would strongly suggest tipping them on departure as they don't earn a salary. The ocean scenery from the bed rooms and balconey are simply breath taking and it was wonderful to be out of the hustle and bustle of Positano. A little walk never killed anyone and it was wonderful to try and walk off all of the pasta and pizza that we were consuming!

Hosts were really helpful and friendly - always willing to help out. Numerous long conversations! Breakfast was outstanding - a lot of different foods and drinks on offer. Service was fantastic. Gorgeous balcony overlooking Positano and beaches. Very large apartment and really superb facilities. Extremely recommend!

If I could rate Holiday House Gilda higher I would but 5/5 is the finest I could do. They genuinely make you feel part of the family, the breakfasts are the finest we had in Italy and also the scenery are to die for.

Hosts were very useful and friendly - often willing to help out. Numerous long conversations! Breakfast was incredible - a lot of different foods and drinks on offer. Service was fantastic. Stunning balcony overlooking Positano and beaches. Very large apartment and extremely very good facilities. Extremely recommend!

The helpful warm and friendly family and pals who run this B&B are amazing. They cook the really best breakfast in the whole of Italy. Food is a focus here and one night a group of fellow travellers were sitting around sharing a wine and enjoyable when the employees produced a huge platter of nibbles for us. Nothing is too much trouble whether you wish to know exactly where to eat, what to see at a particular spot or which bus to catch. Staff have a really great knowledge of the english language or at least are able to understand enough to often be of help. The really best scenery on the Amalfi.

Amazing. Don't consider anywhere else. Here are just a few reasons why: We were treated like family from the first minute. Gilda offered us gratis wine and dolce on arrival (we were famished! ). The apartments are incredible value for money. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious. We were given all advice/assistance we could ever have needed.
