Really close to train station, and 15 minute walk to ruins. Friendly staff. Rooms were tiny. Have to pay for air conditioning. Could be a little cheaper i think, we were turned down for breakfast because they had only 5 tables and they were all taken. They said come back later. we had to leave. It's not a good breakfast anyway. Other than that, its a pace to rest your head at night.

Nice hotel/hostel. Compared to the other hostels/hotels within the same region it is really worth the money.

Customer Review on 30 June 2009
This hotel was decent. The rooms were comfortable, clean and nice. A lot of the guide books we read suggested against staying near the Rome train station, but this actually worked to our advantage. Rome was our last stop on our trip, so by the time we reached here, we had collected extra bags of souvenirs, so it was nice to walk just two blocks from the station to our hotel. We also had an early morning flight out of FCO airport, and being near the train station was key to catch the 3:45 a. m. Cotral bus to the airport. Catching the bus was no cost - the bus driver didn&'t end up charging us the 7 euro per person rate (versus paying a cab 50 euros at that hour since no other form of transportation is open). Being near the station was wonderful this is the only spot exactly where both lines on the metro stop. A lot of the public busses also stop at the train station as well, making it a little easier to get around the city. The hotel room had a television and fairly large closets to store things. Breakfast was sufficient coffee and tea with a croissant and crackers. The hotel allows visitors to use the net for free, up to 30 mins a day. The warm water did go out for a bit, but the hotel resolved it in about 30 minutes.
