Didn't have my booking in the system (even though I'd paid a deposit and had a booking reference number) but managed to squish me in a room that was booked out by a group of friends who didn't mind me joining them. It's not close to the town or beach of Positano but it's the only hostel in the area and much cheaper than staying in a hotel in town so your decision. There is a bus to save on the long uphill walk.

It&'s not near to the town or beach of Positano but it&'s the only hostel inside the region and much cheaper than staying in a hotel in town so your decision. The location is really good if you come to Positano by bus. However, it's really long and tiring climb up the stairs if you come by boat. So, better come by bus:) The hostel has a nice terrace area for relaxing or having a beer or meal. However, you'd have to pay extra for the breakfast. Also, they are cleaning until 14:30. Which means you can't wait in the hostel until the shower is ready, even if you come at 14:00, which I found unreasonable. If you're in the same situation, go for a meal to Bar Internazionale, the food is excellent there, and it's just 100 metres away from the hostel.

Fabulous hostel. Positano is PARADISE. Everyone was super friendly and there are lots of places to see and explore around the hostel and into town. This is the cheapest accommodation in Positano that I have found and you are getting more than your money's worth. The terrace was a fabulous place to meet people and almost enough to extend your trip. Leave your timetable open. you might get hooked into staying longer :)

Fabulous hostel. Positano is PARADISE. Everyone was super friendly and there are lots of places to see and explore around the hostel and into town. This is the cheapest holiday accommodation in Positano that I have found and you are getting much more than your money&'s worth. The rooftop was a awesome place to meet people and almost enough to extend your trip. Leave your timetable open. you might get hooked into staying longer :)

I found the dorm room to be clean, with professionally cleaned linens. The bathroom/showers was spotless. The food served was enjoyable and a good value for the money. The hostesses, Lucie and Chloe, were friendly and helpful. The view was incredible. I definitely intend to return!

Fabulous location overlooking the bay (downside is the number of steps to the beach - but this is Positano). Extremely friendly staff and great atmosphere - this hostel was a highlight of my trip. You will definitely want to stay longer!

I loved the location and the view from this hostel. It was a ways to walk from the beach, but then in Positano, what isn't a ways to walk from the beach :) The view from the upstairs balcony was beautiful. The staff was also very kind and helpful. THey made our stay very memorable.
