This was my extremely first hostel encounter and it was extremely clean and extremely cozy. Its location is perfecto. Super close to the train and bus station and I was able to walk into Ortigia to uncover and have dinner. Even though I stayed during the off season so it was quieter and less crowded I would highly suggest this hostel for everyone and anyone looking to stay in Siracusa.

The place was large and spacious, modern day interior; stainless steel kitchen and nice alfresco. From the bath rooms to the bedroom, the cleanliness was a win :)

Das Hostel geh&ort zu den sch&onsten die ich bisher gesehen habe. Die Einrichtung und die helle Steinfassade ist wirklich sehr h&ubsch. Dazu geh&ort eine gut ausgestattete, moderne K&uche. Die Zimmer waren auch sehr nett eingerichtet, mit Bad im Zimmer, Klimaanlage und sogar Handt&uchern. An der Rezeption bekam ich direkt eine Mappe und Informationen zu allem, was ich unter Umst&anden wissen h&atte wollen und den wichtigsten &uberlebenstipps eines jeden Hosteltravellers (Supermarkt, Bank, &offentliche Verkehrsmittel, wo krieg ich was zu essen). Selbst Fr&uhst&uck war inbegriffen. Wirklich absolut zu empfehlen, 3 H&auser von Bahnhof und Busbahnhof entfernt und zu Fu&s ca. 10min nach Ortigia und die Einkaufsstra&se ist um die Ecke.

This is possibly the top hostel I've ever stayed in. Yes, it's expensive, but you completely get what you pay for. If you're lucky enough to meet the property owner Giovanni when you arrive (and he's usually around), he'll give you an exhaustive list of the top points to see and do in Syracuse on a budget, and each and every suggestion is excellent - you'll possibly save far more than the extra bit of money you'd pay for a night in this location by knowing exactly exactly where to go and avoid. Not that you'd be at a disadvantage in case you don't meet him, because all of the employees are fantastic - friendly and knowledgeable, and even professional, a rare quality in hostel staff. The decoration is fashionable and modern, far more what you'd expect from a nice new hotel than a hostel. It has by far the top communal cooking area of any hostel I've visited, so if you're keen on cooking then a morning in Syracuse's great market place place followed by a feast inside the evening would be perfect. There's far more of a range in ages among the travellers here, with plenty of people in their late twenties and thirties, and even the odd tour group, which means that the hostel doesn't quite have the vibe of instant backpacker-camaraderie you may be expecting. But following the enforced bonding activities and limitless tequila nights of sleazier hostels this can be quite refreshing, and though it took me a excellent day to make pals here, the pals I made were wonderful.

Selbst Fruhstuck war inbegriffen. Wirklich absolut zu empfehlen, 3 Hauser von Bahnhof und Busbahnhof entfernt und zu Fus ca. 10min nach Ortigia und die Einkaufsstrase ist um die Ecke.

The staff are excellent! They are all really helpful. It is a modern hostel, with a great look and a very nice little courtyard out the back. The location is so straightforward from public transport!
