An immensely beautiful building in a central location. Genuinely friendly, young staff. A relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Because of the fantastic location- ten mins from rialto, fifteen fro San Marco, ten from train station-it is great value for money, as you never have to use public transport. No lock out and they take you to see venice in the evenings. | |

The best thing about the hostel was the staff. Adam and Liam were very helpful - we watched the world cup together and had a great time. They also suggested things to go and do in Venice. | |

Everyone was very very friendly and it was a good location (especially as it is imposisble to not get lost in venice so the proximity to the train station was handy) the staff were also great at reccomending places to go and taking a group out in the evening if you just wanted to meet some new people and have a drink, which was really fun. | |

My friend and I stayed there a week ago. We liked the close proximity to the train station and to the water taxi and other parts of the town. The supermarket was close by too which was good. We liked the non-permanent staff also. A few of them were great, but we know that they wont be there always. It was a nice place to meet people though. | |

It looks very nice and old venice style from the outside, the main room decoration also has an old venetian feel but they are planning on getting rid of it. | |

Great place for people travelling on their own. The atmosphere was so warm and friendly, just like being with friends | |

Atmosphere upon arrival was amazing from the get-go. Free Dinners!!! Everyone in the hostel is encouraged to drink and socialize together in a lively square in venice at night which was a first in my 2 months of travelling. One of the best atmospheres in the hostel I have been in and it was certainly encouraged by the staff. Location is great for venice standards. | |

Other than the people we met absolutely nothing. Worse hostel I have ever stayed in, and I travelled for a month around Europe and this was literally THE only hostel I had any complaints about. | |
