It was a completely perfunctory hostel but it had the distinct really feel of a school dormitory. The lights come off and on at a certain time, although there are lights by the bed. Like at a school trip, the showers and toilets are all in a huge room together, so its a bit awkward getting dressed right after a shower. When I went there was hardly anyone inside the hostel, so it didn&'t really have much character, but I can imagine that when it is full it would be extremely loud at night. Not much choice at breakfast, only cereal or a bread roll with jam etc, but then I wasn&'t expecting a 5 course meal. Its a excellent acceptable hostel, but you really do get what you pay for.

Easy to locate and get to by vaporetto and just 2stops to san marco(great view over san Marco from the hostel too). Market place close by. Low price meals and great breakfast included in the price.

I liked that it was right on the Grand Canal as well as the lockers were free. There was a boat station right near the hostel. There was also breakfast within the morning and an excellent one not just a pastry and a coffee.

Good location although from Santa Lucia Terminal took a whilst to reach Zitelle stop by Vaporetto. but only 1 stop to St. Marco Square. Great included breakfast! and linen included

Location. Its on Guidecca, but its easily the lowest cost of any hostel thats not on the mainland. Light and electrical outlet for each bed (though mine didn&'t work). Breakfast is included. Id still cautiously recommend it based on location/price, but especially the second night I was there, I had a really unimpressive experience.

Very close to a vaporetti stop, easy to find, warm and friendly staff, very good atmosphere, no cost basic breakfast, decent beds, room had a wonderful view. Exceptional for individuals traveling on a budget.
