Backpackers Hostel K's House Hakuba Alps

The hosts were so kind and helpful! Staying at Ks Hakuba Alps was a amazing break from the city. The kitchen and lounge area are fantastic! Rooms are cosy and warm. I will be back!

Toshi and Megumi were fantastic and went far beyond their duty in looking after me. I stayed in the low season in late September, and so the hostel was nearly empty. On my first day Toshi suggested a hike up Karamatsu-dake, which was fantastic. I'd highly suggest it (if you are OK with heights). On the second day I was the only person in the hostel, so Toshi drove me to a exceptional soba restaurant deep in the mountains, followed by a (free) outdoor onsen. And then in the evening he cooked me dinner. If you're thinking about staying here, particularly if you've enjoyed another K's House, just book it already!

This hostel was amazing, the staff are so friendly. extremely clean rooms and bathrooms. spacious communal area. would certainly stay here again

The hostel inside the mountain region with cosy living room makes you really feel at home instantly. The owners are very warm and friendly and speak properly English. The hostel is clean along with the cooking area has all supplies needed. They have a lot of Japanese animation movies, at the same time as a library. As soon as you step out the door you are inside the mountain area. To be suggested for all who loves nature, skieng, hiking, biking and a clean and warm and friendly spot to stay.

Toshi and Magumi were the highest hosts you could possibly ask for. Some of the nicest and most helpful people i have ever met. The location was great. A couple of mins walk to Goryu for the snow, with plenty of food and drink nearby. Awsome atmosphere. Really friendly
