Great hostel - love the onsen along with the style of the place

Awesome hostel! What a amazing way to introduce oneself to onsen culture in Japan. The owner clearly put lot of care into making this facility accessible to foreigner&'s. The Japanese I shared the tatami dorm with also gave it a thumbs up. If you want to relax out, enjoy the 24hour baths and relax this place is best for it. Give yourself one full day to lie around and recharge here.

This is a great hostel. The building is stunning with well maintained facilities making the experience really enjoyable. I would highly recommend K&'s home to anyone travelling through Japan.

What&'s not to like! It&'s freakng awesome! It&'s like a romantic holiday retreat type place, but you have shared bathrooms/toilets, and you have to clean up following yourself. This hostel is amazing. One of the greatest (if not, THE BEST) hostels in Japan. The building is amazing, the view of the river/canal is awesome, as well as the employees are super warm and friendly and helpful. Do yourself a favour, and stay here.

This is a beautiful place to stay - both the hostel itself and the surrounding area. Thanks to K's for making a ryokan-like property cheap enough for backpackers to stay.
