The owner has turned this conventional Kyoto home into a wonderful youth hostel with a extremely homy feel. the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

The staff was nice and helpful, the atmosphere of the guest house was great, everyone was nice, the place is clean and cosy, a perfect place to stay at when you're in Kyoto.

The Japanese member of staff was nice and spoke good English, and the dorm set-up does allow you to meet far more people.

The showers are not clean and also the public bath"onsen" that were not far solved the problem : take a shower somewhere else. The staff is very multilingual.
