This is a very new hostel and a very good base to climb Mt. Fuji! It's very clean, looks good, has a good kitchen and meeting room and supermarkets are close. The owner is very friendly, speaks English very well and can tell a lot about the culture of Japan. Note: the gas station is further than you think, just keep walking. There is no hostel-sign outdoor, but follow the given directions; they are good.
