This hostel is in a excellent location. The owner, Shinji, is really friendly and helpful and also the atmosphere of the hostel is welcoming and relaxed. I will definitely stay again!

If the mark of an excellent hostel is location, comfort, cleanliness, safety and overall atmosphere, then the Casa Noda is a really good hostel indeed. . I did two nights in the middle of February. The ten-bed male dorm is clean, spacious with an en-suite shower and toilet; the common lounge is OK and also the complimentary breakfasts and on-tap tea and coffee are an additional bonus. It is literally a 5 minute walk from Nagasaki mainline station and is Ýdeally located for the tram that will take you to all the bomb-related museums and places of rememberance. I`ve stayed at dozens and dozens of hostels - Casa Noda is a top-shelf `backpackers` hostel that richly deserves its reputation and continued success.

Casa Noda completely exceeded all possible expectations! Shinji was an amazing host - helping us with everything from great places to eat, what attractions to see, and even taking us to book our tour to Gunkanjima. The hostel was properly set up, clean, and straightforward to find! Breakfast was delicious! Easily the very best hostel we have stayed at in Japan, we wouldn&'t stay anywhere else. In case you are visiting Nagasaki, stay at Casa Noda!

Most chilled hostel in japan, with the greatest owner. Only hostel i have stayed in with a generous free breakfast too. Clean place, fantastic location, comfortable beds, all good.

Clean, superb facilities. The location was superb - a five minute walk from JR Nagasaki station and also the hostel is on the main road next to a tram stop and is also right by the nice port area. The top thing about the hostel was the manager - extremely warm and friendly and welcoming and an superb source of information and advice for items to see and do in Nagasaki.

The location is perfect. VERY close to the train station, and right in front of the street car stop. The common room atmosphere. It was really easy to meet other travellers and chat with some locals. The helpfulness of the staff. Shinji was the best! He will go out of his way to help you with your travels. The cooking area has all of the essentials. Shinji showed us a supermarket that is situated within 5 mins walking distance. The Hammock in the common room! A outstanding spot to rest your weary legs from a long day of walking!
