We actually got moved to Namba Guesthouse (the owner owns two locations, I think), so the following will be about that location (the Azawa booking is linked to my account here is why I am continuing to write a review for this location). The owner was nice enough and gave us some good tips about Osaka. The Namba location is also amazing, and it&'s about a 10 minute walk from the station. We paid about 2600 each a night, and for somewhere so centrally-located, it&'s a steal. The room was massive enough to fit 3 people and felt far more like an apartment you rent than a hotel. You could do laundry, cook and wash dishes, for example. There was also a large refrigerator in our room which was nice. But really, the massive selling point is the location for the price. Really worth it.

Great host and service, you generally get your own apartment for the cost you pay for you cant go wrong plus the service you get from the host outstanding.

This is a great property if you are staying as a group or a family. It isn&'t a typical guesthouse, it is a flat with 3 private rooms, all with a/c, a living space with TV and kitchen with everything you might need. Superb if you are staying long term, it is really private, situated nearby to some great restaurants, walkalble distance from a lovely park, and right by the subway station, only one block over from Awaza subway station. The property owner is really helpful, knows the area really nicely and was really helpful when we needed to get an early train for the airport, he knew exactly how to get there. He doesn&'t live on site so isn&'t always around, but he has a phone number, or replies really quickly when you email him. I would definitely suggest this spot to anyone, and superb price for a private room in Japan.

It&'s far more like a guest home then a hostel, the owner was really friendly && told us a lot of info about transport in Osaka, sightseeing etc. Location is very good - Near 7/11 && local marketplace etc, bout 10 mins walk from the subway && within walking distance to the nearby shopping/touristy areas.

This is a amazing spot to stay whilst visiting Osaka. Me and my husband booked Awaza home for 2 nights in March and as we were the only one here so had a whole apartment to ourselves. The location is amazing 2 mins from the subway and plenty of eating places and convenience stores on the street. The property owner was lovely, meeting us from the station and showing us the area inc. a lovely affordable restaurant and the television studio&'s. Will definitely use again next time we are in Osaka.
