Motel Muiza

We stayed the second time at Motel Muiza. Whenever we travel to Latvia and arrive by ship in Ventspils, we book a hotel for one night, as on the other morning we travel on to Riga. Motel Muiza is not far from the bus station, and it is a extremely clean and safe place. If someone would like to stay for a longer time in Ventspils I would look for a different place to stay, as Motel muiza is located next to one of the main roads, but for one night ist was o. k. In case you arrive late telephone them and tell as there is certainly nobody around during the night.

We arrived by ferryboat boat at 10. 30 p. m. and on the next day were on our way to Riga, it was o. k. for one nights stay. From the ferryboat boat you have to take a taxi cab to Motel Muiza, nonetheless quite cheap. In case you arrive late you should telephone and let them know, as the employees is not around during the night. Ask for a water boiling pot, as they do not offer you breakfast, but the next supermarket is about 100 m. The room was small, but really clean. In case you would like to stay in Ventspils for a longer time I would not suggest this motel, as it is situated close to a Main Road, but during the night it was not too noisy. It is walking distance to the Bus Station and they have a large parking area, if somebody arrives by car. Employees was really friendly.

The room as nicely as the whole building was extremely tidy.
