Step-in has a great location right near the night market and Philipino BBQ. It wasn't the best value for money I've experienced being more than other in the area and the owner could have been a bit more friendly. But the beds were super comfort and linen was included, just a towel was extra. They have a PC but no WiFi. Starbucks down the road does though!

Step-in has a superb location right near the night marketplace and Philipino BBQ. It wasn&'t the very best value for money I&'ve experienced being far more than other inside the location and the owner could have been a bit far more friendly. But the beds were super convenience and bed linen was included, just a towel was extra. They have a Personal computer but no WiFi. Starbucks down the road does though!

The employees were really friendly and very helpful with arranging transfers etc. They lost our booking for a private room, so we had to change the 2nd day, but no huge problem as it was off-peak. If going during peak time I&'d recommend confirming your booking through them nearer the time. Good breakfast too and no cost tea all day!

Friendly staff, close to marketplace to try good low-cost food exactly where locals go-great spicy fish. Only 15 mins walk to Jesselton Pier for boats to wonderful offshore islands for swimming/snorkelling.

What an outstanding place. Very central location and felt extremely safe. Karen and the rest of the employees were amazing, I kept changing my mind/plans and they could not do enough to help. Already recommended it to a friewnd who has now stayed 10 days. I will certainly stay again.

A nice spot to stay with even though quite noisy outside and sometimes other people banged their doors which made me awake inside the middle of my sleep. But i think its only normal for backpacker lodges especially staying in dormitory room. I will stay there again as it is in very good location. near everything. Thanks!

I came back here three times. The employees are wonderful, the beds are super SUPER comfortable, the whole spot is spotless and the location is amazing. almost right across the road from the filipino market (cheap eats inside the night time), right inside the middle of a night market selling all of the second hand clothes, not-so-real designer glasses and sparkly items that you could want. and right above a cake shop! I&'ve suggested this spot to everyone I&'ve met.
