Interesting place, constructed on large open floors in a building kind of like a fancy loft apartment. Concrete floors, and numerous rooms set up with partial-height walls within one floor. Nice decor, signage, etc. Employees were really helpful.

Really lovely staff, helpful and went out of their way to provide shower facilities out of hours and early check out.

I like the artsy feel of the spot and also the really helpful staff. Being 15-minute walk away from the KL Sentral station (dragging the luggage, lesser without the luggage) was a main factor in considering the place. The location made it simple to get around Kuala Lumpur. There was an elevator so it&'s a plus for visitors with heavy luggage. It&'s failry priced and I think a great enough encounter for travellers wanting just a clean, secure spot to stay in for a night or two on a budget. It&'s nothing fancy, but comfortable enough for adventurous travelers. I wanted to encounter the solo traveling, hosteling backpacker culture, and Pods gave me the encounter just the way I have imagined it.

Nice open area to hang out; free internet; book swap; can get donated odds and ends (i. e. sunglasses, umbrellas, toiletries, etc) for a small donation. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

The Platform on the first floor was cool to hang arout, read a book, watch a dvd or talk to other backpackers.

I like its location, just few metres away from KL Sentral, where bus to LCCT / Airport are. Extremely straightforward to locate from the train station. Get out of the train, at ground level, turn left and look up for Hotel Sentral, PODs is just right beside it. there is a small grocery store beside it in case you forgot some personal stuff just pop in there and you will surely discover what u need. employees werre really nice, concerned and friendly. ive met awesome people at my short stay there, they were travellers too with awesome stories to share. it was actually my first time to stay in a backpackers location :-) and it was a exceptional experience, i felt like i was in some dormitory in college. Alex, who was working there was awesome too. he assisted me with my lil laptop problem, as i am not techy at all. There was actually a small incident where he saw me and the other traveler by the lift, on the security camera. that traveller was a bit drunk but harmless. he gave me compliment at first, i noticed he was tipsy, i said thanks and walked away. as i was walking away he brushed his right hand around my waist, i looked back gave him a stern look, at that point i thought i was not harmed and he was tipsy so there was no point of confronting him. i jst ignored it and walked away to take the train. That night i hang out the common room and Alex was there, chit chatted with him and he mentioned he saw what happened earlier that day, and he asked if i need him to speak to that guy about it and ask that person to leave me alone. That was really thoughtful. Properly i told him it&'s not needed but thanks. he was tipsy and i wasnt harmed at all so it&'s all ok. I booked a single private room, it was cute and clean, bathrooms and toilets are clean too.

Clean, no cost wifi, no cost (good) breakfast there is certainly space in the dorms, there are locker the safety is very good the commun space are quite cosy and clean liked it.
