The owners are extremely helpful and will go nicely out of their way if there is certainly anything you need help with ie transport, pharmacy, food && drink etc. set in a fine location with pool, bar and social location with three extremely warm and friendly dogs that will always keep you company! They say you get what you pay for with regards to lodging and living but at Zack&'s pad. you get a extremely great deal. If you are extremely fussy, go somewhere else but in case you are nice, humble and like great company then this is a cracking spot to stay. I will be back :) Allan, 24, Scotland

The friendliness of the the staff (Sam is a legend - dont tell him that though! ), value for money, location, safety, general atmosphere, everything! A great location to stay and meet other travellers. One of the most effective places Ive stayed.

After reading some of the previous feedback we arrived at Zackrys with a little trepidation but soon realised this was a warm and friendly and welcoming guesthouse. Fair enough Zackry wasn&'t running around and filled with glee but he never made us feel uncomfortable, the antidote to this was Sam the meet, greet and entertain employees member, a enjoyable and helpful lad. As for the 12 commandments these are rules you would expect to adhere to without being told, so to complain about these I locate odd. In all we had an excellent stay in a clean low-cost guesthouse and have had much worse stays elsewhere for a lot more money and would definitely stay again. Several thanks to all at Zackry&'s.

I loved staying at Zacherys! Best end to my travels- Infact its one of my fave places in over 6 months. Clean room-free tea/coffee/cold water/communal area and pool. The dogs are lovely too(part the reason I booked there as I was missing mine && i think they help the setting :) Sam was a star and makes you really feel welcome. Really very good place to meet fellow travellers! I will return :)

I think this property is overrated, and is riding on an outdated Lonely Planets recommendation. The location is very aged, and also the facilities are getting tired.

This property had a really fantastic atmosphere. there was a communal area with a bar but you didn&'t have to be drinking to sit here and mix with the other travelers. it was a fantastic location to meet individuals and all of the staff were more than helpful with any queries and would point out the greatest places to see, eat and drink. it was located close to the beach and walking distance from cafes, stores and supermarkets.

Good location, near beach. employees extremely friendly, low priced beer and alcohol inside the bar, rooms are extremely basic but nice and clean
