I thought the employees were really warm and friendly and went out of their way to help tou and advise you. The roomd were clean and confortable and the common location was good for everyone to chat on an evening with a cheap beer

Actually we total stayed here for 3 days, since we sent mail to change our booking. The employees and boss all are really nice. We have booking 3 hostel during we travel Malaysia, only this home sent us cfm email. It&'s clean and good price, near the beach. A Chinese restaurant called BOAT SEAFOOD is near this hoise. Extremely delicious.

The employees encouraged a convivial atmosphere inside the common location and all were welcomed. Really pleased to be able to cook our own food also as get decent recommendations of local restaurants. A fantastic stay apart from one thing.

Very friendly hosts a excellent environment as an older backpacker. Really effortless to extend your stay with them though be warned this place is great and is always full! Great location just over the road from the beach. Near to shops, local eating places (though walk a little further for much better sea food). Rooms are spacious and cleaned well. Unlimited water and hot drinks and low-cost soft and alcoholic drinks in case you want them. I would stay here again for the friendliness alone. A excellent mixture of people. Langkawi itself is a lot more expensive than Thailand, so don&'t compare it or think it&'s as low-cost to be here as it isn&'t. It is really great value for the money.

Room was extremely easy but clean. There was a air condiitioner and it&'s stop to work couple of times. Staff was ok, they are extremely nice and like to hang out to their guests. Other parts of hostel was no to clean, but for us was the most critical thing taht room was ok, and it is. For that value of money, hostel was ok and it has a &"soul&", it&'s different and you need to be prepare to atmosphere, individuals enjoying in staying there.

Our stay in Langkawi would not have been as great if we had stayed elsewhere. Peet and Sam were exceptional hosts, friendly, helpful and a mine of information. We booked for two nights, and have been here almost a week. Location is excellent, close to the beach and restos. Renting a motorcycle made our stay even a lot more fun, and we explored pretty much each road on the island. Sam organized a karaoke night, fishing, provided a meal for all of the travellers with entertainment. In case you are lucky enough to stay here, enjoy!

Zackry`s is awesome! The staff are warm and friendly and hilarious and there is generally a really good atmosphere. I ended up extending my length of stay there twice. Hope to pay a visit to again in 2014 :)

Great budget hostel - big-ish room and the shared bathroom was with only one other room. Really cool spot to hang out with lots happening here - they employees are fantastic with local and onwards travel. The lady gave us advice equivalent to about 3 hours of googling in a single conversation.
