Beautiful heritage building with lots of character, extremely friendly household owners and staff who were extremely helpful, extremely near to yummy hawker food, great buffet breakfast with local food, clean and secure, TVs inside the room were a plus, so easy to get our washing done for a nominal fee. First night some guests were a bit noisy and our room was near to reception but the owners were extremely receptive to our comments and moved us to a quieter portion of the building. A bit further from town but we had no problem getting anywhere as it is easy enough to walk, close to the bus stop and the owners are often willing to ring for a taxi

The spot has a lot of atmosphere. Every single room has its own different furnishing with original antique teak furniture. It is really a unique spot with nice and warm and friendly owners that make you feel welcome and you feel like staying with friends. They go out of their way to help and provide a lot of information about Melakka. The spot is extremely clean as properly as the breakfast is good. If you have the chance to stay here, don&'t miss it.

Beautiful little cottage with lots of character. The room is clean and spacious with a big-screen television and great air-conditioning, Cooked breakfast was served with a smile and some local sweets for dessert. Attached there is certainly a little museum belonging to the owners as properly as the owner took us and a few others for a little tour of the location and it was lovely. Provided a brief but interesting history of Melaka with family anecdotes included. The place is also very close to Jonker St and all the visitors points of interest without being inside the middle of all the hustle and bustle. The very best choice!
