While being away from house it is great to really feel so welcome at a spot you&'re just staying for a few days. I had a great time with Annie and her beautiful family. Having great talks and playing badminton for me were the highlights of my stay in Penang. Thanks a lot!

Annie and her household are so friendly! Made me feel right at home. The beath is literally a 5 minute walk and a fraction of the cost the beachfront hotels would charge.

The room was very good value for money. Large room in home next door to the family&'s. Our room had 2 windows, double bed, desk and wardrobe. Location was very good for Batu Ferringhi, close to principal street, beach and night Market. Location very good if you want the beach but if you will be visiting George Town a lot, bear in mind it&'s more than an hour each way on a local bus (with air con). Bus service is very good though - frequent and clean. The family were very friendly and nice and helpful. Supply very good washing service.

If you need some noiseless days, the very best location is here. Close to public bus you can uncover the island in a view days. And Annie can answer each and every question.

Annie&'s family are all really excellent and remarkable people! I really felt at home with them. They were so helpful, they gave me excellent advise on where to go for the best encounter in Penang, Also, my room was very nice, spacious and clean. ( I had a double bed) :) Whilst I was there it was quite at the hostel, so for most of the time I even had the shower and the bathroom to myself. I would suggest Annie&'s homestay for anybody who is looking for a very nice, secure, quite hostel with the most friendly, kind and helpful owners!

Annie and her family are the most awesome hosts. I had only ever stayed in hostels before, never a homestay, so was unsure of what to expect - I needn&'t have worried! Annie&'s homestay is incredibly warm and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble, the home is situated in a lovely noiseless region a few minutes walk from stunning Batu Ferringhi beach, and there is certainly a multitude of awesome hawker/street food stalls nearby to satisfy your appetite. I cannot suggest Annie&'s homestay enough, we had a wonderful stay there.
