I liked the amenities- the pool table and bonfire. The travellers at the hostel as well as the employees were very friendly!

The setting is very nice here. People get easily in contact at the bonfire. I really really like this place!

The spot is just a stone&'s throw away from Tanah Rata bus terminal. Plenty of stores, eating places and food stalls to choose. The spot itself was cosy. I stayed inside the dorm and it was basic with relatively clean sheets, a blanket and clean co-ed washroom (unless you like a dry toilet due to the fact it is a two-in-one shower cum toilet - for me it was clean enough). There is certainly a bar at the back of the spot and it had affordable drinks and a bonfire to warm up and chat with fellow backpackers during chilly nights.

We enjoyed everything about our stay at Kangs! The staff is super friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. You can book tours right at the travel lodge, which is really convenient.

Nice thing about the lodge is the outside area. I didn&'t see the bar (which is supposed to be nice too) but the massive sitting region was nice. Though they should replace the cushions on the couches.

It was right inside the middle of town. but in small-town Tanah Rata, that&'s really not saying much. Good water pressure
