Although there does no more appear to be a rooftop pool, , all else is pretty much as presented on website. There is patio seating on the 6th floor rooftop. Room TV reception is spotty, but there is a large TV inside the lounge, if one really requires TV. There is a coffe/tea//hot chocolate lounge on first floor providing free hot beverages through[ut the day. Along with the included- in- price- of- room- breakfast is an amazing all-you-can eat buffet. And dinner and lucnch ( reasonalbly priced ) is fantastic for the like selection and quality. From the manager to barman to receptionists to maids, all are extremely friendly and helpful, quick to address any question or concern. This is not a 5 or a 4 star hotel, but it IS a extremely very good budget hotel and a bargain at that! I&'d stay here again, and, in fact, I will be: twice inside the coming month! Very good location, two blocks in from harbor and one block from the seaside promenade. Grocery and ATM withinn three blocks. All Tours immediate at harbor side, but these too will be arranged, on request, by the friendly receptionisst at The Plevna!

This place was nice for older travellers - not a big hype for younger people. Very good for a short walk to the centre of Sliema. My room was nice, big, air conditioned, cleaned daily and comfortable - but the fridge was broken, the phone worked sometimes and sometimes not. This is quiet place so you can crash out when you want and not be disturbed. It has internet facilities you pay to use but you cannot use the USB ports which is a downer because you cannot upload photos! A big bonus is breakfast buffet - is very good with huge! ! The staff are helpful and friendly and speak english well. The 'Lido' is free but a walk down then up hill. Not that convenient but still free and has a snack bar with alcohol and a great view. All in all great vaule for money in a good location. Would stay again if I was alone, not if I was with a young group of people though

It was a really very good hotel for the price! Don&'t expect to meet a lot of young individuals because it&'s a lot more for old individuals but they are still really nice. The breakfast was really very good along with the bedroom was nice too.
