Absolutely remarkable Hostel. Honestly one of THE BEST that I have ever stayed in and that is certainly no exaggeration. It was clean, safe secure, the employees were lovely and really helpful and genuinely wanted to create your stay as good as possible. Inside the mornings (8am - 10am) you are treated to a full breakfast (Mexican or Western i. e. eggs) which is included in the room price. There is also no cost drinking water outside of your room. The whole place was really nicely and tastefully decorated. The Hostel is at the Eastern end of Ave. Juarez &'stip&' just past the Jardin Escondido, around 15 mins walk from the central Zocalo &'Jardin&' area, and up various flight of stairs - quite a few which is perhaps the only thing which detracts from the hostel but anyone who is reasonably fit will have no issues lol! Due to being perched on the side of the hill, the points of interest over Guanajuata from the large roof-terrace, which includes Barbeque and sunbathing, region were just sublime particularly at night. The rooms are decorated brilliantly and really clean with lots of space for belongings in large lock-able cupboards. Warm water is provided throughout the day for showers etc of which there are a lot of so no need to queue in the mornings! From what I saw of the private rooms, again, I would without question stay here with a partner a lot more so than in a hotel to take advantage of the wonderful hostel vibe and meet other ppl etc. Honestly, stay here!

I loved it. This was the warmest welcome I can remember at a hotel or hostel. The spot was wonderful. I met two other single women and we wandered the town together for two days. Just a amazing place. The breakfast is incredible!

The hostel was really clean and also the employees were friendly. The breakfast was excellent and different each day. Nice view over the city.

The breakfast, definitely! It&s unbelievable, a lot of food, and also very very delicious! My room was very nice. It was quiet. There&s no cost water to refill your bottle. The hostel itself is very nicely decorated, and all of the staff were really warm and friendly and helpful. Would most definitely stay here again.

This is a pretty spot but probably greater for young travellers who party all night. It was really noisy during the night and the owners did not stop this despite there being a ' no noise soon after 11:30pm ' rule. The design and details are lovely and being on a hill you get a wonderful view. The bed linen on my bed was not clean/had not been changed and the toilet flooded as soon as I arrived so there were some hiccups but the owners fixed this quickly enough.
