Great location - inside 5 minutes walk to principal street and a few minutes far more to beach but on a quiet street so no disturbance at night. The room was a very good size with a decent bathroom and was kept very clean. There was a nice balcony to sit on just outside the room and a few areas with relaxed grouped seating. The employees were very friendly and helpful.

This location is 2 blocks from 5th avenue (the stree which is blocked off from car and lined with shops, restaurants, and tour operators). 5th avenue is 30+ blocks long and this hostel is right within the middle. It is effortless to walk to everything! Including the ferryboat to cozumel. Tip: If you need to go to Tulum or Xel-ha, Xplore, XCaret, etc. you can pay a bunch of money to a tourist company or walk to the public shuttle/bus on Juarez St. and go for $3-4 USD. The reception desk can give you directions to get there. It was very secure -- there was always someone within the reception area (which you have to walk through to get to the rooms) and there is a secure in each and every room.

Very nice, clean and silent place just two blocks from the center and 5 mins to the beach, really helpful staff, beautiful clean rooms, free beach towels, free coffee and tea - ideal vacation!
