The hostel is close to main points of interest but just far enough to be in extremely restful surroundings. Employees was friendly and helpful. The place is clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable.

The location is excellent; within close walking distance of the historic centre. We stayed within the Santiago de Queretaro room within the key hostel building. Everything was clean and quaint. The room was far removed form the street and so was very quiet. The hostel employees are extremely helpful and informative. Security is very outstanding with a key locking gate and additional door that closes at night.

The extremely best hostel in Mexico! Outstanding layout, lots of food for breakfast, no cost natural water, beds have curtains, and also the long-term residents are really nice. The staff is EXCELLENT. The reason this hostel is so great is that Arturo puts his heart and soul into it.

I only chose this location as a stopover in between MX City and San Miguel de Allende. I was only there for about 10 hours, but in that time the staff was nice and friendly. There was a lot of water on the floor inside the entrance hall when I arrived, yet not a serious issue. The restroom was clean along with the room was clean (and quiet).

Great hostel, really helpful staff and stunning setting. Fast wireless and hot showers throughout. Even the breakfast was superior!

I really liked Casa San Gallito. Arturo is so friendly and the hostel is excellent, brightly coloured, got something for everyone. I especially love the upstairs area for women. very cool! I miss Queretaro too, it's a cool place with some of the nicest people I met in Mexico!

Casa san gallito hostel is one of the friendliest, cleanest, best run hostels i have ever stayed at. staff/owners are awesome & its right in the center of town.
