Cenote Encantado is 100% NOT a party place. It is a spiritual camp geared towards individuals looking to relax, chillout, and become one with the points of interest and sounds of the beach, jungle and nature in general. Situated a easy 100 paces from the beach, Cenote Encantado is very close to the surf, in fact, it can be heard at night, among the jungle critters. Finest described as (with no malice intended) a &"shanti&"-town (pun intended). The tents are the only location in 14 days that ~I Did Not Receive A Single Mosquito Bite~ (while sleeping). A easy tent check just before bed, and your worry free! +All tents come with power! They even have a fresh water Cenote in their backyard! That allows for great fresh water bathing! Once again, this location is NOT geared towards individuals looking for a location to crash soon after a night of getting wasted. I even felt uncomfortable drinking a beer and eating meat, though soon after asking they assured me that they had no qualms. Though it is an ideal spot, if one is in search of a quiet retreat! Quite unique! +1

It was nice and quiet, perfect in case you desire to just relax and listen to nature at night. They have bicycles that you can use to venture towards Tulum or go into Sian Ka&'an and the bicycles were continuously being serviced so they always were in superb condition. The hostel is just a 2 minute walk to the beach.

Really good location for comforting and away from the crowds and tourists. Basic tents with inflatable mattress. Take a raft on the cenote or go right across the road to the beach (quiet and remote compared to the other beaches of Tulum). Overall, one of the greatest places I stayed in Mexico. There is certainly a restaurant right across the road and about 6 in walking distance so no need to bring your own food. Also bicycles are available.

Camping near to sea and to cenote with the free use of bicycles and kitchen facilities also refridgeration for food. Really comfortable air beds and hot showers

I did a bunch of accommodation comparisons online for tulum beach strip places before our trip, and then we visited various places in person during our trip. this was by far our best bang for our buck. i&'m really happy the way it worked out. a lot depends on no matter if you like &"camping&" though, with a entirely stocked (and nice) kitchen, a sweet outdoor shower, and a well-designed composting toilet, this was hardly &"roughing it&". low-tech and simple, this spot will appeal to you if you like the write-up on their website, which is accurate. if you resonate with the intentionality implied in the write-up, you&'ll vibe with this place. if it doesn&'t really register for you on a values level, you&'re almost certainly better off at a higher end spot which reflects more the consumerism that is slowly (or not-so-slowly) taking over tulum. for us, this spot was ideal, and super awesome. the cenote in the back is sizable and completely lovely.
