Customer Review on 10 April 2012
Really good location for comforting and away from the crowds and tourists. Basic tents with inflatable mattress. Take a raft on the cenote or go right across the road to the beach (quiet and remote compared to the other beaches of Tulum). Overall, one of the greatest places I stayed in Mexico. There is certainly a restaurant right across the road and about 6 in walking distance so no need to bring your own food. Also bicycles are available.

Camping near to sea and to cenote with the free use of bicycles and kitchen facilities also refridgeration for food. Really comfortable air beds and hot showers

Listening to the sea at night, and a lovely and inspiring location close to the beach.

I did a bunch of accommodation comparisons online for tulum beach strip places before our trip, and then we visited various places in person during our trip. this was by far our best bang for our buck. i&'m really happy the way it worked out. a lot depends on no matter if you like &"camping&" though, with a entirely stocked (and nice) kitchen, a sweet outdoor shower, and a well-designed composting toilet, this was hardly &"roughing it&". low-tech and simple, this spot will appeal to you if you like the write-up on their website, which is accurate. if you resonate with the intentionality implied in the write-up, you&'ll vibe with this place. if it doesn&'t really register for you on a values level, you&'re almost certainly better off at a higher end spot which reflects more the consumerism that is slowly (or not-so-slowly) taking over tulum. for us, this spot was ideal, and super awesome. the cenote in the back is sizable and completely lovely.

Very cool. i would reccommend this place to anyone. it is basically luxurious camping. you have your own tent with a fan, candle, and a dim light. (electricity goes off sometime in the night, i presume to save electricity. but it wasnt too hot when the fans went off). there is certainly a public kitchen with a stove, coolers, running water and complimentary drinking water. theres a hot salt water shower, and another out house room. its all really properly set up. theres a cenote out back, and its not beautiful like some of the ones you see in the pictures, but its quite deep and clear, great for swiming in. boats are provided. its kind of far from town, but its so effortless to get a cab, they are running up and down the road at all times. surprisingly enough, its situated right in the tulum hotel zone, but everything is pretty tucked away, we were fine not bringing our own food, we could just walk down the road and there were some really cool places not to far down exactly where we could eat or drink. lots of live music also. we rented bicycles for 12/us each/24 hrs. and biked to tulum ruins about 10 k away. theres also access to a beautiful beach from the tent hostel property. the beach seems like it would be busy with small resorts all along it, but there was hardly anyone there when we were. so all in all, really liked it.

Location is near to stunning prisitine beach and has an above ground cenote that you can take a boat out on and swim in. The owners are stunning people, gentle and helpful and generous with their time and treats from the kitchen. I slept well, the first night and loved the sound of the ocean and and also the birdlife. Thanks again, I will return again to Tulum for sure if I have time.

The tent was in very good condition and really clean. The mattress was very good too (there is an electric pump within the cooking area that you can use to inflate the mattress if it loses a little air while you are there). We blew ours up when we got there and it stay firm all night. The facilities are pretty basic but definitely good. There is certainly warm water within the shower. Purified water is provided to drink. The cenote out back is beautiful, a little turquoise lake within the mangroves. Galia was really helpful and accommodating. Nice little community

Right by the beach, stunning location, get the amenities of the beach strip of Tulum without being entirely ripped off.
