If you need to be close to the beach and the Tulum ruins- this is the right hostel for you. But if you need to be closer to the town of Tulum, have a nice and clean bathroom, cozy beds- go to another on in downtown Tulum.

I read some really negative reviews about this location ahead of we arrived but honestly it is a excellent / cool hostel. Free bicycles are brilliant for the beach, ruins and town. We had a double private room which was fine and cleaned daily. The kitchen is not awesome but okay. The chillout region is fine, TV, sky, music and movies. We met brilliant individuals and stayed 3 extra days. The breakfast was nice and a bit different each day. All of the employees were friendly and most have a excellent level of English. I have stayed in hostels all around the planet and this is a fine excellent stay. Nina and Gav, UK

Very excellent location, on the crossroads to the road to the ruins, some way out of tulum town, but that is certainly far better as there is no point being within the town. the free bike hire is great. breakfast is really excellent food

The free bicycles came in great. Towel rent is cheap. By comparison, location is good, an straightforward bike ride away.

I love this place. Tulum is a great beach, and for $10 a day you can't beat the combination of Bed, Breakfast, and a bicycle to ride during the day. The staff is great and will help you to make your stay in Tulum interesting.
