The family is extremely friendly. Although they hardly speak English they will do their greatest to help you locate your way through moulay idriss and around. The guy helped us to get on the bus to chefchaouen!

Staying at this riad is like actually staying with a local household - you actually stay inside the home with them. The dinner provided is huge and be careful not to over order as your hosts may really feel upset in case you don&'t eat it all. The lamb kofta with egg tagine was sensational

Although the owner doesn't really speak good English he is very helpful. He met us at midnight in the middle of the town square. There is no way one can find the hostel on his own in the little medina for the first time. The owner welcomed us with mint tea and his daughter's birthday cake. We got back to this place 2 months later. The town is gorgeus and the place worth staying in.

Really enchanting and amazing place to stay. The breath-taking outview from the rooftop and hospitality of the employees are unbelievable. One can ask perfectly-speaking english owner for buying some food or local hand-made products for him and even take a breakfast at 5 a. m. Really worth place to stay in. Close to Volubilis, Fes and Meknes.

The setting is superb. The owner/manager warm and friendly and willing to be of service, as well as the dinner served in their primary room was superb--home-cooked and delicious. The rooftop gives a marvelous view of the town and valley below, with Volubillis inside the distance. A highlight of our two weeks in Morocco.

The house itself is really beautiful. And when you really want mountains and not Meknes itself, then I guess it's a really great place.
