Perfect location in Kathmandou and very nice staff! Service dedicated to the clients, rooms cosy, electricity, hot water and awesome rooftop!

Very friendly employees who run this hotel. We stayed there 4 times over 6 weeks. Superb view from the roof top seating region exactly where we loved to have the breakfast which is included. TV and wireless in room both working well. We were presented with prayer scarfs on our departure which was lovely!

Location was pretty good, close to principal Thamel strip. Staff were friendly and helpful, but communication was exhausting at best, instructions in English not properly understood, resulting in frequent miscommunication and frustration.

Extremely friendly employees who will do just about anything for you. Remarkable value for money and also the very best breakfast in town is included within the price. I will always stay at Avalon House when I return to Kathmandu.

Quiet location, still really close to Thamel area, just cross the street. We stayed first in another hostel at the same location but that was so bad compared to this hostel, even though the room price per night was the same. Nice hosts, fantastic roof terrace, big (free) breakfast, clean rooms in very good shape, affordable airport delievery, safety guy at the door during the night time.
