Would not stay there again unless refurbished. We stayed some years ago and liked it. This time the room decor was bad. Stains across ceiling. The shower was really bad, broken washbasin, broken tiles and dirty. The lighting arrangements were so bad that we could not read. If using economy bulbs then move light fittings. Then during our last night had water come through the ceiling onto a bed !!!! Did complain to General Manager ; he did not appear to be concerned. |

Central location in Thamel with a charming atmosphere and a nice and peaceful rear garden. Negative: Booked room was not available on arrival and I was changed the first night to a cheaper room without bathroom which was quite good, from 2nd night on I stayed at a Standard room next to laundry - it was dark, cold and very loud during the night. |

The closeness to the shopping and entertainment area. The in house, restaurant, internet service and beautiful garden. The rooms are small and dark, bathroom is basic but overall it provides good value for money. |

Convenient location, travel bureau, free baggage store. Probably not the cheapest hotel on the block, but plus points make it a worthwhile stop. |

The location is Superb, right in middle of Thamel, yet still so peaceful in its own privacy. The inner garden is great place to relax over a drink and a book, and the restaurant offers really nice food with great cappuccino for dessert. |

The hostel was very central and had among the best amenities we have found at any hostel worldwide: coffee shop; tandoori restuarant; great breakfast cafe; internet; lovely sunny garden and even a hairdressers! |
