Brilliant location, 2 mins from Dam Square and all you need for a short stay. Really clean too.

1st we got given the wrong key and eneded up in someone else&'s room but that was easily sorted out. Toilets are tiny! U have to ask for locker key and towel. There&'s a lot of small/tiny stairs to climb also!

This hostel is superb, the employees are friendly, helpful, full of local knowledge and go the extra mile. The facilities are cleaned daily, lockers for the valuables, no cost wireless web inside the lounge. All you can imagine. It&'s location is inside the middle of Amsterdam and it&'s an straightforward walk to get anywhere. Besides, it is a 24-hour open hostel. At night, reception secures the door at the entrance, it just gives any travellers the feeling of much more security, I only had to wait a couple of seconds for the door to be buzzed.

Good location and warm and friendly staff. it&'s a hotel much more than a hostel. the recption is 24 hour open, and also the new established noodle restaurant is on the grond floor exactly where you can appreciate a budget lunch or diner.

Location is walking distance from central train station and makes it straightforward to get to from airport. -15 min train. Good walking region for shops and little restos. Hot showers are often going strong and hot! :)

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and they made it basic for me. The entrance hall had a bathroom, so I could easily stop in and use it during the day if I needed to. The entrance hall was often mellow and a really fantastic spot to read, eat a snack, or charge my electronic devices. I also loved that it is right in the middle of the old city center and near the central station. I was able to walk to all of the places I wanted to pay a visit to without having to take a train or bus once.

Fantastic location a couple of mins walk from Dam Square && inside a few metres of a tramstop to everywhere you&'d want to go. Spotlessly clean, great showers and toilets, comfortable beds as bunkbeds go. Cooking area region not up to cooking as there is certainly just a kettle, refrigerator and micro wave oven but fine for preparing a sandwich and a cup of tea. There is certainly a seating region and tables for hostel users with a TV and a free computer/WiFi but it isn&'t the kind of spot a single traveller is going to sit and make friends. This is a lot more a budget hotel than a hostel but it is fantastic value and a fantastic base for discovering Amsterdam. Employees are efficient, enjoyable and often there, and we weren&'t woken inside the middle of the night by fellow guests rolling back home, which I had expected.
