The location was great (lots of shop/pubs on the doorstep), employees were easy to talk to and helpful along with the room size was pretty very good considering there were 5 of us.

Cheap, especially for Amsterdam. The rooms are no Ritz, but they were clean, the hotel has staff 24/7 who are really friendly and helpful. Fantastic for a weekend exactly where seeing Amsterdam, not the hotel, is your priority

The location was pretty good, staff were friendly, although they offered us a coffee and then later on charged us for them, bar/common location was pretty nice

Great location, good price, very nice and helpful staff. Room had his own bathroom as said on the website (ensuite), tram station right outside the hostel, many coffee shops, bars, restaurants and places to go near the hostel. Great place! I'll recommend it to everyone who goes to Amsterdam :-)

La stanza era sporca e fredda, se dovete prenotare chiedete la stanza 5B che era della mia amica, molto pulita, bella e calda, al ultimo piano la stanza era come nella foto, con la differenza che le foto sono state scattate 50 anni fa.

It is the really best location in all Amsterdam in the middle of the really best square. Which is excellent. The cleanness is not really good. They dont serve breakfast along with the wirelles internet didnt work. Anyway what really bothered me was that they recharged me the "deposit tax" (booking tax) when i got there, that was already charged on my credit card. The woman said that the "hostelbookers" do not repass that money to them so she had to charge me again! Plus that, she charged me 10% of the whole amount for the " turist tax" that i really dont know if exists.

The rooms werent like inside the web pictures, they have a not so excellent bathroom, the heating also werent good, and, moreover, the double bed was really bad and they dont have food, breakfast, and, even, telephone inside the room and internet connection! However, the spot is really good! Almost the most effective spot to stay in Amsterdam.
