I cant say enough about this place. For a lone backpacker like me, It was like a 5 star Hotel. This place really was far more like a Hotel than those shady backpacker places. It was next to Wanganui river and was a lovely place. For almost the same price as regular back packer places, I actually got a nice room all for myself. The Kitchen and also the bathroom were remarkable too. This place will exceed all your expectations. Couples or Families with kids especially will find this place a pleasure. The staff were super friendly. You need not have any doubts in case you are booking this place. Kudos and Annie and Dion.

We loved everything about this hostel. They had a lovely pool and hot tub. the kitchen was really nice, homey and there was a lot of room for our items in the refrigerator. We were supposed to stay inghte hostel portion of the facility, but somehow hostelbookers and this spot were having problems communicating electronically so they didnt have us in their books, but luckally they had some private rooms availabla and they let us have them for no extra charge.

EVERYTHING was fantastic during our stay there! Staff was really friendly, our room was ready and clean, the setting was really warm and welcoming, the facilities offered a fantastic variety of activities, and most importantly EVERYTHING is included inside the price! Towel, DVD, spa, cookies, even the INTERNET! Oh, along with the cat is a cutie! If I ever go back to Wanganui, I know where I will be staying! GREAT place to stay!

This is one of the very best places I&'ve stayed in New Zealand. And I stayed in quite several places. This is a top quality hostel - much more like a excellent hotel. It&'s modern, it&'s properly maintained and you feel welcomed by staff. There&'s also free Net and wifi- I would without doubt stay there again.

This place was greater then the 4-star hotel I stayed in in Australia. Big screen TV in the lounge, internet included, comfy beds, very clean facilities, pool, hot tub and sauna all really nice. Extremely friendly hosts. Completely new everything. FANTASTIC! Worth every single dollar.
