Good location with free parking out front which is rare for a huge city, the property owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, booking tours for us, making recommendations, cooking us dinner. Was a grest location to meet individuals with a nice common location and nice clearn kitchens. The free breakfast was great.

Hi all, this was the first time i stayed at a hostel, i did not know what to expect, as i walk in i was greeted by a very friendly member of the employees and that set the tone for the rest of my stay, i felt so at house and i would very much suggest Lagan Backpackers to any one, so much so i will be returning later this year. thanks every one at Lagan Backpackers for a great time.

I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone travelling in Belfast. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The owner even invited the guests to a meal that he cooked himself, and talked with everyone present. It was a very memorable, positive experience.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. No matter whether it be arranging tours, making suggestions of places to go or having a chat. There was often an evening activity arranged e. g. movie on a large projector screen, barbeque etc. The breakfast in the morning had a great selection (full English, vegetarian, scrambled egg and bacon or toast) and was cooked to order.

Free hot breakfast. Simply because numerous pubs/restaurants were closed for Great Friday, owner held a bbq. Fantastic enjoyable - whiskey flowing!
