Its a set of apartments rather than a hostel, so there's no common area except the pub's bar, no washing facilities, no tour info etc etc, so it doesn't have a normal hostel environment. But if that doesn't fuss you, its brilliant. The rooms are lovely, its a great location, clean and safe, and you have your own facilities. Close to supermarket and Bergen tourist spots.

Room is nice, like an apartment, extremely cozy decoration, lovely, effortless to find, closed to the attractions. Employees are nice, but no maps inside the reception. Great.

Very functional and fun, split level apartments with double beds with sky window on top floor was nice, bar employees little pushy to sell a meal or drink in a crafty way but otherwise extremely nice with amazing rear marque area. Unfortunately noticed that our room was unlockable last two days. . . from inside yes outside no, but the Norwegians are incredibly honest so did not worry too much.

Very modern, near to train station, shops along with the waterfront. Not the cheapest but Norway is extremely expensive.

Pros:Location, pub and back garden, real apartment interior. Makes staying less costly - cook by yourself. Romantic. Cons:Was no room service - 3 days with same towels and garbage not taken out. No wire phone in roomBad Wifi reception
