Staff is so friendly, helpful, and polite! They were all wonderful. Really clean, comfortable, really pleasant grounds. Excellent breakfast. Basic walking distance to much of Arequipa.

Rooms were basic but cozy and clean. The hotel also has a large courtyard which is enjoyable for comforting in. Raquel at the front desk was a delight-- helpful about recommending restaurants, getting us a taxi, storing our luggage, changing money, etc. She even hugged us when we left--such a warm, lovely person.

This hotel is fantastic. Me and me bf got sick the night we arrived and they went above and beyond to look following us-ordered us food, cancelled our trip we had booked at no charge and were so warm and friendly and kind about it all. On top of that the hotel is just lovely. The courtyard in the sun is great esp with the toitoise! Breakfast was the very best we had in Peru, the rooms are spotless and comfortable, the location fantastic-5 mins walk to the principal museo and 10 the the Plaza. Perfect.

Beautiful gardens, friendly, helpful day staff, especially with organising tours and busses to other places, very good breakfast, near to city centre, quiet, wonderful view of snow capped mountains, fantastic language and cooking school on site and held in the lovely garden area. warm sunny areas (after being in cloudy overcast Lima)

I was extremely impressed with the security, with the hotel being constructed enclosed around a gorgeous garden and a gated entrance which was locked inside the evening. The rooms though basic were comfortable and clean and all of the employees friendly and extremely helpful. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Stayed in a double ensuite for five nights. Large hotel centred around an open courtyard. Nice and quiet. Clean, comfortable room. Great breakfast. Warm and friendly employees keen to help with your Spanish. there is certainly a language school based at this hotel, and we took 20 hours worth of lessons. Brilliant teachers; thoroughly enjoyed it. Have booked another four nights here (and a lot more Spanish lessons). Plus there&s a friendly giant tortoise.
