Lovely old building, great garden and also the room was nice too. Great location for arequipa centre. Staff lovely and helpful, they even let us check in and go into our room at about 8am! :) Internet terminals worked pretty well, breakfast average to very good compared to other Peru hostels, free unlimited coffee! Tortoise inside the garden was cool!

Courtyard was great. Employees were wonderful, very friendly and helpful. was a very secure and clean place. Exceptional for organizing taxi cab to airport and for wake up calls.

Casa de Avila was the greatest hostel of our trip to Peru. Situated in a really safe and nice area near to plaza de armas (10 min walking), the employees is really really friendly and helpful, the breakfast is great, they arranged us transportation for us from/to the airport, they have a nice garden with a turtle living there, tv with a lot of channels. El mejor hostal de nuestro viaje al Per&u. Est&a situado en un barrio muy seguro y bonito cerca de la plaza de armas (10 minutos a pie). Las recepcionistas son muy simp&aticas y nos ayudaron en todo momento con cualquier consulta que tuvimos, nos recogieron del aeropuerto, el desayuno es realmente bueno, tienen un bonito jard&in con una tortuga que vive all&i, disponen de tv por cable con muchos canales.

Casa de Avila was the most effective hostel of our trip to Peru. Las recepcionistas son muy simpaticas y nos ayudaron en todo momento con cualquier consulta que tuvimos, nos recogieron del aeropuerto, el desayuno es realmente bueno, tienen un bonito jardin con una tortuga que vive alli, disponen de television por cable con muchos canales.
