Camiri Floating Hostel And Lounge Bar

This was a really relaxing place to spend the day, yet it is extremely noisy during the night time and inside the morning. The resident dogs bark and chase the passing boats first thing inside the morning. I felt this hostel got you out of the hustle of the town and gave you a really relaxing place to contemplate the meaning of life and converse with the universe. I met remarkable local individuals who come there to drink and socialise. These individuals were warm and guided me around the town. The property owner organised a wonderful, affordable tour to the Amazon with a really professional guide. Saw remarkable sights and did wondeful things. Food was great. This hostel is a little globe of its own that will add to your adventures in Peru.

I enjoy it here, I stayed 4 nights. It gets loud on some nights. Lots of backpackers and cool people show up here. The employees are super warm and friendly and some even speak English. After moving to a quieter apartment nearby, I continued to stop in regularly for drinks and mingling. Check this place out, you won't be sorry.

Camiri has a stunning environment - you are floating on the river along with the lounge region has hammocks to relax in. The breakfasts were fantastic with eggs, toast, french press coffee and freshly squeezed juice. It is a fantastic place to meet individuals as the owner and all of the employees are extremely welcoming and inclusive of everyone. Within 30 mins of arriving, I was going on a daytrip with 3 other individuals staying at the hostel that the owner Marcello suggested for us. We saw Manatees and then went to a fantastic Zoo and beach area. I cant say enough great items about the employees at Camiri - they go out of their way to make sure your stay is fantastic. It is also only 3 blocks from the main square Plaza de Armas but you are fully from the chaos of town along with the noise of the mototaxis. Definitely would go again - I ended up staying longer than originally planned!
