This guesthouse is wonderful and unusual. It&'s much more like a boutique hotel than a guesthouse. We stayed in 2 different rooms. One was inside the house, with a view over the garden and also the sea. It had a lovely ironwork bed and a rolltop bath at the same time as a balcony to the side of the room. The 2nd room was much more contemporary in style and was away from the home in front if the garden. It had an remarkable view of the sea and we watched the sunset from our own balcony. The only drawback about this room was that it was very noisy as it is above the road. Overall I preferred the room inside the home as it was quieter and much more unusual in style. The home and garden are filled with artworks by Victor Delfin, whose studio is below the garden. Lilian gave us a tour following breakfast one morning. Near his studio is also the most remarkable swimming pool! The breakfast was good. Continental style, with fresh coffee, fresh orange juice and brioche / toast with a choice of jam or scrambled eggs. The location is great. I much preferred the Barancco location to Miraflores, exactly where we stayed our last niht in Lima. Lilian recommended a local restaurant on the second home Peru website exactly where we went fir lunch and it was lively with great food!

This place is unbelievable. It is an old artists home and also the decoration is stunning. It is a little pricey in case you are travelling. but in case you want a bit of deluxe it is totally worth the price. This is the nicest place I have ever stayed in in ten years of travelling in a variety of countries. Cant recommend it enough

Phantastic place. Amazing artwork of the Peruvian "Picasso" Victor Delfin who lives and works at Second Home. Totally fantastic place

Lots of. Just outstanding for people loving freedom, art and beauty. The location is not exactly for party animals.

Owner amazing. Range or arkwork stunning, views spectacular. A special place to stay.
