Munay Wasi is a nice place to stay. We had a private double room for 3 nights, it was supposed to come with a shared bathroom, but ours was right outside the room, and we pretty much had it to ourselves the whole time. The owners and employees were very nice and helpful, especially when our midday bus to Lima on our leaving day was cancelled. We arrived back at the hostel at a loose end, and they let us use the facilities completely free of charge until we could get on another bus 6 hours later.

The owner was so warm and friendly and made us really feel really welcome. When we arrived around 10am she allowed us to have breakfast for no cost including eggs, bread and tea/coffee. She also provided us with lot&'s of info on the attractions in and around the town. There is a great cooking area obtainable for guest use with a large marketplace place in walking distance.

The owner was very nice and let me check in early prior to my travel companion arrived later that day. I had come overnight on the bus and she invited me to have breakfast that day. She provided a wonderful map and &"insiders guide&" to Trujillo that helped us find a couple cool spots off the beaten path. The rooms were clean and bathrooms nice. They let us leave our bags in a locked room after we checked out and waited up for us to come gab them prior to we left on an overnight bus.
