Very peaceful, I had the whole 16 person dorm to myself. Employees were also very friendly. Stunning location on the edge of the jungle, gorgeous to swim in the lake and 15 minute stroll up to the principal road past local villiagers. Great for a calming getaway.

The time in NipaHutVillages was great! The Nipa Huts along with the surrounding look outstanding and when you hear the river and animals during the night time you feel as if you are within the middle of a lovely jungle. We had breakfast each and every morning (very good price) which was a fantastic start within the morning. The staff was often extremely friendly and helping with all requests. After walking to the next street it is extremely effortless to get to the beach, to Tagbilaran city or sightseeing opportunities (such as the lovely Chocolate Mountains or the Tarsiers).

I totally loved my stay at Nipa Hut. I stayed for a week. It was exactly what I needed. It&'s located in more of a remote area, but I enjoyed this, simply because it makes getting to other sites part of the awesome adventure. The staff is awesome and laid-back. It&'s incredibly effortless getting around Loboc and Bohol island; there are a lot of options. I suggest the jeepneys.

Surprisingly, the toilets were fantastic! They don&'t look like much at first, but we appreciated the space, ventilation along with the clever design of the floor (lets the water run right out so you don&'t end up wading around in your filthy bathwater! ). Don&'t expect five-star toilets, here it&'s a pail of water - perfectly functional and refreshing. Clever design of huts too, adore the hammocks.
