It was centrally located and close to a mall. It is ok for the cost and they even had a wine and cheese party while I was there. Another guest told me they had a live band one night. Soi, they try to make your stay enjoyable.

Staff was warm and friendly and helpful. The owner tried to create sure everyone was having a nice time. I was only there one night, but the location seemed good - near to waterfront / primary road and within the centre of things. Hostel was pretty full, and there&'s a very nice indoor / outdoor common area with tables and sofas and a television / books. Good hostel overall.

Very easy to meet people on the comom area, i arrive there Friday 9 pm i allready went out with some people that night!

The location is good, in Malate around all sorts of cafes, restaurants, a nice shopping mall, and needless to say the seedy bars, KTV's and dancing girl places that seem to attract the backpackers. There is a decent lounge region that seems to be superb for meeting other travelers, and also the cost is cheap for the shared rooms. They also do a wonderful job about warning travelers about potential dangers of Manila.
