Lovely staff, really welcoming especially for someone who&'s coming to Asia alone for the first time! Clean lovely hostel in an otherwise crazy and dirty city. Secure business district. No cost wi-fi, breakfast and drinking water. Staff let you store bags if you go exploring provinces and come back. Also met some cool people. Overall a really welcoming and lovely stay.

This is one of the nicest guest houses I have stayed in during my five years of travel. Manila is not an appealing city. But this guest house is beautiful, the employees and visitors are friendly, the breakfast is excellent, the Wireless fast. What can I say Stay here or go some place guaranteed to be inferior.

The hostel is just within the process of moving location. We were in their old building which meant we had an apartment to ourselves. It had everything we needed and is within the centre of Manila and so well located. The new building (which we checked in at) looks great with brand-new bedrooms, kitchen, washrooms etc. and seemed quite social too. The owner was really helpful and extremely kowledgeable about what you can do in and around Manila.

I liked the open cooking area and living space. the rooms exactly where clean and comfortable! very nice location to rest your head on the cheap but without skimping on the comforts of a warm shower and clean atmosphere.

I did not know what to expect since the owners just recently changed locations. It ended up being a pleasing surprise. The new spot was properly done with an elevator to their hostel. The spot was nicely renovated with plug-ins at each and every bed and privacy curtains on each bunk. The air conditioner worked well. The bath rooms were clean and also the showers were hot. I enjoyed my single night stay there.

Very clean! Free wireless and breakfast and really helpfull staff. Loved the curtains at the bed to generate a lot more privacy and also the showers were really good. Hot and cold. There are lockers inside the hallway, bring your own padlock. Theres airco and fans. Building clearly states Mavenue Builiding. Although cabdrivers dont know it, its effortless to find if you stick to the address. It should only cost about 300/400. Dont use the meter, just arrange the price with the cabdriver. Many will do it for about 300. (The first time with meter I paid 500 pesos! )

In Makati, so able to walk to nice bits of Manila. Owners and employees were wonderfully helpful and friendly. Stunning swimming pool. Overall a really nice location to stay within the chaos of the city.
