Good hostel with facilities for cooking, resting and accsess to internet. I like barbecue very much there - great price and gorgeous surroundings of forest, river and hills. The staff is warm and friendly and helpful - all of them speak english, even one of them from England. It is a littel bit faraway from center but near to ski slope and to Morskie Oko. It is worth every penny.

Good Bye Lenin is the perfect location from which to discover the Zakopane area. It&'s a little bit out of town, but it&'s simple to get to and that&'s the very best thing about it, as it gets you out of hyper-touristy Zakopane and much closer to the national park, which is right across the road. The staff are super helpful and are actually genuinely interested in helping you have a great (and safe) time in the Zakopane wilderness. The hostel provides BBQ dinners when the weather is good, which usually ends up in people sitting around the open fire and chatting for hours afterwards. The location is small, cosy and personal, the facilities all work well, there&'s no cost wifi, the bath rooms are clean, the breakfast is outstanding and plentiful. All in all the location is amazing value for money. Go there, you won&'t regret it.

Good Bye Lenin is the very best spot from which to discover the Zakopane area. What a difference staff can make! Very nice, clean hostel! It's a bit faraway from the city center of Zakopane, but for people who like hiking and chilling out, it's excellent ;-) They are doing great job!
