Very near to nature. I used this hostel as a launching off point for a various day hike into the Tatra Mountains and into Slovakia.

When I first arrived, I thought the location was way out of the way. However this spot grew on me the longer I stayed. It is nicely run, enjoyable and wonderfully located out of town inside the park/nature. In case you desire to be near town, this is not the spot for you. But if you desire to hike and enjoy nature at it&'s finest, this is the spot for you. It forces you to rest and enjoy the small things.

It&'s in a loverly location right in the middle of nature - so peaceful and relaxing. It&'s also on the bus route on the way to Morskie Oko which was really handy when we wanted to do a full day hike in that area. The staff are mostly really warm and friendly and helpful (most are international volunteers who work in exchange for board, so I found they varied a bit in terms of friendliness but on the whole it was great).

A FANTASTIC HOSTEL! Felt at home as soon as I got there. The cozy living room got everyone talking and it felt like we were family by the time I left. In a great location, hidden away in the woods but just a brief bus ride/walk to the town centre. Very warm and friendly staff. Close to all of the hiking routes in the area.

Great employees and really warm welcome. A hostel that instantly feels like home. Really social so a wonderful way to meet people and best location to explore the mountains/lakes. About a 40 minute walk into the main town (although the town is not really that worth it) and there is certainly a bus which will take you there, about 5 minute walk from the hostel. But there are a few restaurants and shops near the hostel so really you have everything you need.

This is the very best hostel I&'ve stayed in so far by a long stretch, and I can&'t imagine how any others could beat it in terms of homeliness, atmosphere, staff and character, not to mention location. There&'s really no way it could be any better. 9 euros is an insane price for such a gorgeous setting, fantastic rooms, free breakfasts and social aspect. The hostel is tucked away in a restful woodland less than 5 minutes walk from the entrance to the national park, and 2 minutes to the bus stop into Zakopane or to Morskie Oko. It has everything you could possibly need, and a spacious outdoor region which is fantastic in warmer weather.

3rd time we have stayed here. Nice hostel. We got a fantastic nights sleep on comfortable beds along with the hostel itself nonetheless has pretty character and uniqueness, but.

What a great stay. There is a living room area exactly where everyone hangs out together at the hostel, which immediately makes it much more welcoming than other places. The employees and volunteers make it a really special place. We ended up staying an extra night and got to know these people really nicely and had some fantastic times with them. A beautiful spot to stay - strongly recommended!

A true warm and friendly environment with a really feel of living with friends, at home. Employees is super friendly, location is amazing. A spot for travellers and run by Travellers. Its scores 10/10. If you dont like meeting new people, socializing with strangers, have enjoyable together, dont go to them.

My partner and I stayed in the double private room which had excellent points of interest of the surroundings, as the hostel is nestled within the forest from the busy center of Zakopane. The hostel has a gorgeous timber interior and is full of Zakopane charm, with a lounge area which is excellent for meeting other travellers. The staff were incredibly helpful - providing us with info for hikes and even providing us a lift! We would have stayed longer had we not already made a booking at our next hostel.

Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Unfortunately it rained most of the time I was there but I was given some rain gear and boots that other quest had left at the hostel so that helped a lot. Hostel is about 15 minute walk from the center but overall the location is really amazing especially if your there to hike and spend time in the mountains
